Prarthana loses balance and collapses, Anupama panics in Anupamaa
In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Prarthana confides in Anupama that she no longer feels like eating. Anupama gently but firmly urges her to have food, reminding her that she has barely eaten anything. At the same time, Ansh and Leela are seen shifting the dining table and rearranging the house. Their actions catch Hasmuk's attention, and when he questions them, Leela explains that they are taking precautions for Prarthana's safety. She points out that Prarthana has taken shelter in their home after clashing with the Kotharis, and they cannot afford to take any chances.
Prarthana Breaks Down, Fears Losing Her Unborn Child
Paritosh intervenes and suggests that Prarthana and Raja should resolve their differences with the Kotharis and move back in with them. Hasmuk immediately mocks Paritosh for his insensitive advice, clearly unhappy with his way of thinking.
Feeling guilty, Prarthana apologises to the Shah family, saying that they are facing problems only because of her. She shares her fear, revealing that had she stayed at the Kothari house, Gautam would have pressured her into signing documents and snatched her baby away. Anupama consoles her and assures her that she is free to meet or speak to the Kotharis whenever she wants. Ansh reassures Prarthana with an emotional promise, saying the family will protect her even more than their own lives.
Anupama Decides to Stay Back for Makar Sankranti
Later, Hasmuk requests Anupama to cancel her return to Mumbai. Anupama explains that going back is necessary, but she promises to leave only after celebrating Makar Sankranti with the family. She also realises that she still hasn't spoken to Rajini.
In Mumbai, Bharti serves tea to Rajini and asks if she can visit the chawl to celebrate her first festival. Rajini agrees outwardly, but secretly plots something major for Makar Sankranti. Meanwhile, Vasundhara blames Prarthana for being influenced by Anupama and leaving the Kothari house, dragging Raja into the mess as well. Meeta adds fuel to the fire by accusing Anupama of calling Raja to Mumbai and manipulating him. Gautam coldly declares that he doesn't care where Prarthana lives, as long as he gets his child. Enraged, Parag slaps Gautam and scolds him for his disgraceful behaviour.
Rahi, deeply affected by everything unfolding around her, feels unsettled. Prem comforts her and opens up about his dream of seeing Rahi pregnant someday. However, he admits that he isn't ready for fatherhood yet, as he wants to be successful and capable of giving his child a comfortable life. Rahi reassures him with warmth, telling him he will make an excellent father when the time comes.
Rahi and Prem’s Heartfelt Conversation About Parenthood
Both families prepare to celebrate Makar Sankranti. Anupama speaks about the spiritual importance of music and asks the Shahs to play the flute in remembrance of God. She requests Prarthana to ring the temple bell, considering her pregnancy auspicious. Raja hesitantly asks if he can ring the bell too since he doesn't know how to play the flute. Anupama smiles and tells him that devotion lies in intention, not perfection.
Parag compliments Rahi for beautifully decorating the temple. Mahi remarks that she would have done the same if she wasn't busy with office work. Prerna notices Mahi's insecurity and points out that instead of appreciating Rahi, she is busy comparing herself. Amid all this, Anupama silently prays, and soon both the Shahs and the Kotharis come together to offer prayers.
Kite Flying Turns Into a Friendly Family Rivalry
Ansh excitedly asks Anupama when they will go kite flying. She replies that they will head out after having prasad. Paritosh announces his plan to use kite flying as a way to promote his business, which prompts Anupama and Leela to tease him playfully.
As the Shah family gathers on the terrace for kite flying, Paritosh looks visibly dejected. Anupama advises him to think smartly when it comes to business and decides to support him. She hands money to Karan and asks him to use Paritosh's company name on additional kites. Soon, the Shahs and the Kotharis cross paths, turning the celebration into a friendly rivalry. Parag cuts Anupama's kite, and instead of getting upset, Anupama cheers for his win. Hasmuk questions whether she lost intentionally, and Anupama admits that she did it to maintain peace between the families.
Garba Unites the Two Families in Festive Spirit
Anupama and Parag
Parag tells Anupama that she cannot always emerge victorious. Anupama calmly responds that since he won, it calls for a celebration together.
Parag says they will celebrate her defeat, and Anupama happily agrees, as long as it's done together. She reflects that festivals are meant to heal wounds, forgive mistakes, and strengthen bonds. The episode ends on a joyful note as the Shahs and the Kotharis come together to perform Garba.
Precap for the Next Episode
In the precap, while both families are immersed in festive Garba celebrations, Prarthana sits aside, quietly enjoying the joyful moment. Even as they dance, Leela and Anupama check on her well-being, and Prarthana reassures them with a smile that she is fine. Soon, her attention shifts to two children arguing over kites. From a distance, she tries to stop them, asking them not to fight, but when they fail to hear her, Prarthana decides to walk towards them herself.
Unaware that a manja is lying on the ground, Prarthana accidentally steps over it and continues walking. Anupama notices something amiss and calls out to her, but before anyone can reach her, Prarthana loses her balance and collapses. Anupama screams in shock as the entire family freezes in fear, deeply anxious about what the sudden fall could mean.
