Leela recreates Anupama’s iconic ‘aapko kya’ to shut down gossip in Anupamaa

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Anupama is pleasantly surprised to spot Rahi at the Shah house, and her face lights up with happiness. She warmly appreciates her appearance, but Rahi remains silent and walks past without responding. Despite this, Anupama calmly explains that she will be around only for a few days and suggests they maintain cordial behaviour for Ansh's happiness so that their personal differences do not affect the wedding celebrations.

Rahi responds by extending her hand for a handshake, making it clear that her cooperation will last only until Ansh's marriage is over. Anupama accepts the handshake, feeling that even this temporary truce is enough.

The moment shifts as Anupama wakes up, realising it was all a dream. She feels happy that her day began with such a positive vision and hopes the entire day will go smoothly. Reminding herself of the workload ahead, she recalls that the wedding preparations and dance rehearsals need her attention. Determined to get started, she begins her practice with fresh enthusiasm.

Leela arrives while Anupama is rehearsing. Anupama pauses, but Leela encourages her to continue focusing on the grand finale performance. Soon after, the other dance ranis join in, combining their practice sessions with managing various tasks for the upcoming wedding.

Meanwhile, a group of neighborhood women arrive at the Shah house, teasing that since Anupama has become a star, she would no longer visit them, so they decided to come and meet her themselves. They ask about her absence from the locality, and Anupama responds by offering them tea. The women happily agree and also request sweets, mentioning that it’s Ansh’s wedding.

Although they initially express joy for the occasion, they soon begin to pass sarcastic remarks about Ansh and Prarthana’s marriage. They talk among themselves about how the Shah family accepted Prarthana even though she has already been married once and is pregnant. One woman goes further, commenting that instead of bringing dowry, Leela’s daughter-in-law is bringing a child into the house. Another speculates whether the baby could belong to Ansh, suggesting this might be the reason the wedding is being held in such haste.

Hearing these comments, Leela loses her temper and bursts out, saying that whether she gets her great-grandson married or not, invites people or doesn’t, marries him to Prarthana or someone else, holds the ceremony quietly or with grandeur, and does it in any manner she chooses, how does it concern you? This strong response surprises Anupama, as it reminds her of her own straightforward way of speaking. Leela adds that if they had come to share happiness, she would have welcomed them, but if they are here to speak unpleasant words, they should leave immediately.

Anupama feels a sense of pride seeing Leela stand up for the family. She suggests holding a small celebration and asks Leela to prepare some dishes for the occasion, while deciding to make halwa herself. However, Leela, still upset, tells her to cook whatever she wishes and walks away, clearly disappointed.

Though she appeared strong outwardly, Leela is filled with anxiety. In a moment alone, she wonders why Ansh chose Prarthana, a divorced and pregnant woman, when he could have found someone else. Her fears take her back to Vanraj's past and how he and Kavya had trouble accepting Aniruddh's child. Leela confides that it is often easier for women to accept children who aren't biologically theirs, but not so for men. She even points out how rare it is to find someone like Anuj, who whole-heartedly embraced a child that wasn't his. According to her, successful relationships are rare in their family. Anupama tries to reassure her, insisting that Ansh is not like Vanraj and that he'll prove to be a good husband and father figure. She then gives Leela a surprise, lightening the mood.

The Shah family gears up for the mehendi celebration of Ansh and Prarthana. They discuss a special surprise planned for the occasion. During the preparations, Ansh checks with Kinjal about Pari's presence. Kinjal reveals that she hasn't invited her. Hasmuk comforts Ansh and tells him not to be upset if some people choose not to come. But Ansh expresses that the ceremony would feel incomplete without his sisters.
Soon, to everyone's delight, Rahi, Mahi, and Pari arrive. Rahi hands over a shagun to Prarthana on behalf of Parag. Sarita is taken aback to see the diamond jewellery gifted to the bride. Anita exclaims that the Kotharis have sent genuine diamonds, showcasing their affluence. Pakhi overhears some of the dance ranis gossiping about the extravagant gift.

Prarthana initially hesitates to accept such a lavish gift, but eventually gives in after insistence from the family. Sarita makes a sly comment that rejecting such a gift would've been her loss. Pakhi quietly observes Anupama and Sarita's odd behaviour, growing suspicious.

Later, as Preet and Bharti help Anupama dress up, Rahi spots them from afar. Anupama, still hoping to fix her bond with Rahi, tries to approach her. However, Rahi warns her to keep her distance, showing no signs of reconciliation.

In the precap, Rahi stuns everyone by challenging Anupama and her dance group to a face-off. Meanwhile, Paritosh secretly records Sarita handing over something to a mysterious person. Pakhi gears up to bring down Anupama and the dance ranis, planning to expose them in front of everyone.
