While the essence of the original will be preserved, several prominent actors from the earlier cast are returning to reprise their iconic roles. Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay will once again be seen as Tulsi and Mihir Virani. The promo has already been released, and fans are eagerly counting down the days until the show returns to their screens.

Ever since the promo of the show has aired, there's an undercurrent debate among the netizens about Star Plus show Anupamaa losing it's glory as Smriti Irani's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 (KSBKBT) is all set to take over the TV screens. However, now, the audiences can witness Rupali Ganguly aka Anupamaa welcoming Smriti Irani aka Tulsi with open arms.

Star Plus shared a video wherein Rupali Ganguly as Anupamaa is seen video calling Tulsi (Smriti Irani) from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Anupamaa tells Tulsi that she is excited for her return while Tulsi responds that she had to be back because of the love from people. Furthermore, Anupamaa mentioned that they might keep bumping into each other because of their shows' time slots.

For the uninitiated, Anupamaa airs at 10pm on Star Plus while Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 will take over it's original time slot of 10:30 pm.
