Rahi secures admission for hotel management, but Moti Baa announces wedding date in Anupamaa

Star Plus' Anupamaa takes a compelling turn after the leap, with Anupama's grandchildren now stepping into adulthood and the focus shifting to Rahi and Prem's budding love story. The show, which was previously centred around the Shahs and Anupama, intensifies as the filthy rich Kothari family enters the scene, bringing with them a troubled past that led to Prem severing ties with them due to deep resentment.
The tension rises when Parag confronts Anupama, pushing her to uncover the hidden link between Prem and the Kotharis. This revelation strains relationships, but a surprising change of heart from the Kothari family helps repair the damage.

In the latest episodes, Rahi, under Moti Baa's influence, agrees to marry Prem while planning to chase her dreams post-marriage. Earlier, she had rejected the Kotharis' proposal, prioritising her career. However, Anupama is against Rahi's rushed decision, fearing that she might face a similar fate. Going by the promo, Anupama's fears seem to be coming true.

In the recently released promo of Anupamaa on Star Plus, Rahi excitedly shares her big news with Anupama after applying for a hotel management course. She proudly shows the form, expressing her determination to take Anu Ki Rasoi to every corner of Gujarat. Meanwhile, Anupama is busy with kitchen work, absentmindedly listening to her.
When Rahi notices that Anupama is not paying attention, she tries to get her focus, prompting Anupama to shift her gaze from her work towards her. Anupama turns towards her, removes her glasses, and sets aside the writing pad before acknowledging her. Just as she expresses her joy over Rahi's dreams taking flight, their moment is interrupted by Moti Baa, who arrives and disrupts the excitement.

She informs them that the wedding date has been finalised by the priest. Rahi, taken aback, tries to show her form, but before she can say much, Moti Baa dismisses her concerns, insisting that everything she wishes to do can be done after marriage. She then takes the form from Rahi's hand, hands it to Anupama, and places a coconut and a red cloth as a traditional wedding blessing in Rahi's hands, leaving Anupama stunned.

The situation deeply unsettles Anupama as it mirrors her own past—Leela had once told her the same thing, promising she could pursue her ambitions after marriage, only to later deny her that right. Overcome with fear, Anupama prays that Rahi's wedding does not become the expiration date of her dreams, just as hers once did.
