Prem challenges Parag’s authority, reminds him of leaving Gayatri to marry Khyati in Anupamaa

In tonight’s episode of Anupamaa, Kinjal expresses to Anupama that an unnecessary issue was created today. Anupama, puzzled, questions why it became such a big deal just because they cleaned the utensils. Kinjal remarks that enjoying panipuri isn’t limited to a particular class; even the wealthy love it.

Anupama points out the contradiction in the Kothari family’s mindset, stating that they are willing to visit the Shrinathji temple and offer their services, yet they have a problem with something as simple as eating panipuri. Kinjal then asks if Rahi will be able to adjust in the Kothari household. This leaves Anupama concerned for Rahi’s future. However, Rahi reassures her, stating that the Kotharis won’t impose restrictions on her.

Meanwhile, the priest informs Moti Baa that Rahi is not the right match for Prem. On the other hand, Prem and Rahi spend some heartfelt moments together. During this, Rahi notices a metal ladder about to fall and quickly pulls Prem away, saving him from harm. Prem, deeply moved, assures Rahi that as long as she is by his side, nothing can happen to him.

The priest continues warning Moti Baa, claiming that Rahi’s presence could bring danger to Prem. Concerned, Moti Baa instructs Khyati to contact Anupama immediately. At the same time, Anupama, Hasmukh, and Leela wonder why Moti Baa has suddenly called for them.

Elsewhere, Khyati urges Parag to convince Moti Baa that Prem doesn’t believe in horoscopes. However, Parag reminds her that even Parathna and Gautam’s horoscopes were matched. Khyati, skeptical, questions whether Parathna is truly happy. Parag warns Khyati against following in Anupama and Rahi’s footsteps.

Moving forward, Prem and Rahi dream about their future wedding. However, Prem is taken aback upon learning that Moti Baa has secretly checked his horoscope. Determined, he decides to confront Moti Baa and Khyati about it. Rahi intervenes, asking him to consider Moti Baa’s perspective. Despite this, Prem remains firm in his decision to marry Rahi at any cost. Rahi, however, insists that the elders should have the final say.

Hasmukh and Anupama head to the temple for a meeting with the Kothari family. Seeing Rahi arrive, Moti Baa scolds Khyati, reminding her that Prem was never supposed to find out the truth. She expresses concern that if Rahi is aware, she might disclose everything. In response, Khyati assures her that she hasn’t revealed anything to anyone. Meanwhile, the Shah family warmly greets the Kotharis.

Rahi steps forward and acknowledges that she is aware of the elders being called, but she chose to come along today to clear some misunderstandings. She firmly states that her mother never hides anything from her, which is why Anupama brought her here today. Respecting the traditions and beliefs of every family, Rahi humbly requests Moti Baa not to base decisions solely on horoscopes. She points out that their priest created a Kundali using only the date of birth, which may not be entirely accurate.

Moti Baa then reminds her that Anupama never provided Rahi’s birth details. In response, Anupama calmly explains that she couldn’t provide them because she herself doesn’t know. A wave of shock spreads among the Kotharis as Anupama reveals the truth—she never gave birth to Rahi but adopted her from an ashram in Mumbai. Parag is taken aback, wondering how Gautam could have overlooked such a significant detail while gathering information about the Shah family.

Anupama then speaks passionately about her unconditional love for Rahi, emphasising that Prem was already aware of her past. She directly questions the Kotharis, asking whether Prem had kept this truth from them. Struggling to comprehend the situation, Moti Baa remarks that since Rahi isn’t Anupama’s biological daughter, their bond has no real meaning.

However, Anupama refuses to back down. She takes a firm stand, drawing a parallel between her relationship with Rahi and the bond shared by Lord Krishna and Mother Yashoda. She urges Moti Baa to reconsider her stance and not let a mere horoscope dictate the course of Rahi and Prem’s future. She reminds Moti Baa that they were summoned for a discussion, prompting her to finally speak up. Moti Baa declares that while Rahi’s Kundali may have flaws, the bigger issue is that her presence itself is a flaw in Prem’s life, leaving everyone stunned. She further states that the biggest threat is not on Prem but on the family’s reputation. She coldly remarks that had they known Rahi was an orphan from the start, they would never have considered this alliance.

Moti Baa openly questions Rahi’s background, criticising her lack of a proper family. However, Anupama stands her ground, cautioning Moti Baa to be mindful of her words. With unwavering determination, Anupama asserts that she is both Rahi’s mother and her family.

Despite Anupama’s defense, Moti Baa and Parag insist that before they accept Rahi into the family, they need to know whose blood runs in her veins. Anupama then recounts Rahi’s true origins, revealing that her biological mother, Maya, had left her at an ashram to protect her from harm. Maya’s intention was to establish herself first, ensuring she could provide Rahi with a good life before reclaiming her. However, fate had other plans, and Maya is no longer alive. Anupama declares that while Maya may have given birth to Rahi, the mother who raised her stands before them today.

Even after this revelation, Moti Baa remains adamant, asserting that Rahi cannot become Prem’s wife. In contrast, Prem firmly defends Rahi, stating that she is the perfect life partner for him. Parag tries to pacify Prem, advising him not to act impulsively and go against the family. However, Prem boldly reminds Parag that he, too, had made his own choices when he left Gayatri and defied Moti Baa to marry Khyati. He questions why he is being stopped now when he is only following in Parag’s footsteps. Prem argues that if Parag was right back then, he cannot be wrong now—and if Parag was wrong, then he has no right to stop him.

Turning toward Moti Baa, Prem expresses his frustration, pointing out that when he and Rahi were unsure about marriage, they were pressured and emotionally manipulated into it. But now, when they are ready, the same family is rejecting Rahi. He stands his ground, strongly defending her against every objection raised. Meanwhile, Anupama directly confronts Moti Baa, demanding to know why Rahi is considered unworthy of becoming a part of the Kothari family.
