Rahi AGREES to be Pranshi’s mother; Vasundhara BLOCKS Anu from contacting her daughter in Anupamaa

Tonight's Anupamaa episode opens with Bose insisting that Jaya needs immediate medical attention and must be taken to the hospital without delay. A worried Anupama asks what exactly happened, and Bose explains that Jaya had been trapped inside a factory that had remained shut for several days, which likely caused her condition to worsen due to infection. Without wasting any time, Digvijay, Banku, and Anupama rush Jaya to the hospital. After examining her, the doctor informs Anupama that Jaya is suffering from a lung infection and will need proper treatment. He further adds that the treatment will require a significant amount of money and asks her to arrange the funds soon.

Hearing this, Digvijay is reminded of Saavi’s similar illness and is shaken by the thought that history might be repeating itself. He silently questions why such hardships keep returning. Banku breaks down emotionally seeing Jaya in such a state, while Anupama is left stunned when she learns that she needs to arrange one lakh rupees for the treatment. Digvijay apologizes to Anupama, saying he wishes he could help financially but is helpless. Anupama reassures him and says it’s alright. However, she turns to God in despair, questioning why those with fewer resources are always tested the most. She pleads with Jaya to regain consciousness and asks Digvijay and Banku to stay by her side while she steps out to arrange the money.

On the other side, tensions rise in the family as Vasundhara confronts Gautam. She questions his judgment for trusting outsiders to take care of Pranshi and criticizes him for taking the child away from the family. Rahi supports the earlier decision of filing a case against Gautam, while Prem reveals that they were about to proceed legally until Vasundhara intervened. Anil directly asks Vasundhara if she truly believes Gautam is at fault, and she admits that he made a mistake. Gautam defends himself, calling it his first error, but Vasundhara does not let it pass easily.

Prem insists that Pranshi should stay with Ansh, but Vasundhara firmly denies any such connection. She then turns to Rahi and asks if she is willing to take full responsibility for Pranshi. Rahi agrees, but Vasundhara questions how she will manage both her professional and personal responsibilities. She even suggests that Rahi should quit her job to focus entirely on Pranshi. Rahi counters this by highlighting how women in India often balance multiple roles efficiently. Khyati steps in and offers support, saying she will help take care of Pranshi when Rahi is occupied. Despite this, Vasundhara maintains that while a family can assist, only a mother can truly take responsibility, and she ultimately assigns Pranshi’s care to Rahi.

Meanwhile, Anupama continues to struggle with the pressure of arranging such a huge amount. She feels weak and momentarily dizzy but gathers herself, determined not to give up as Jaya’s life depends on her. At the hospital, Digvijay is haunted by memories of Saavi’s accident and recalls how he once begged the doctors to save her. Banku, overwhelmed with emotions, keeps thinking about Jaya, while Digvijay tries to stay strong and encourages him to do the same. However, he remains deeply concerned about how Anupama will manage to arrange the money.

Elsewhere, Ansh asks Preet about her plans to travel to Mumbai. Preet shares that she is heading there for an event and invites Ansh to join her. Ansh declines, saying he cannot leave Hasmuk and Leela alone. Preet appreciates his sense of responsibility but also reminds him that he should occasionally prioritize himself. This sparks a conflict as Leela overhears the conversation and accuses Preet of influencing Ansh against the family. A heated argument follows between the two women. Ansh tries to calm the situation and apologizes to Preet on behalf of Leela. Preet, however, expresses that enduring such taunts has become a part of her life if she continues to stay in the Shah house.

Back at the hospital, Anupama remains restless, constantly thinking of ways to gather the money. Banku tries to comfort Jaya, assuring her that everything will be alright. Digvijay, still shaken by his past, reacts emotionally, prompting Banku to ask him what’s wrong. In desperation, Anupama decides to call Rahi for help.

At that moment, Rahi is occupied with taking care of Pranshi, and it is Vasundhara who answers the call instead. Anupama explains Jaya’s critical condition and her need for financial help. Meanwhile, Digvijay also makes efforts to arrange money on his own, determined not to repeat his past failure with Saavi.

However, Vasundhara refuses to help Anupama and sternly warns her not to contact Rahi again. She goes a step further by deleting the call details and misleading Rahi by saying it was just a wrong number. Unaware of this, Anupama decides she cannot burden Rahi anymore now that she is married. Feeling helpless, she once again turns to God for guidance. In that moment, her eyes fall on the chain around her neck, hinting at a possible solution.

In the precap, Rossi intimidates Jaya, warning her not to take her name again. She threatens that if she does, Anupama will suffer the consequences and could even face the same fate of being locked inside the factory. Fearful, Jaya is left shaken, while Anupama makes up her mind to meet her.
