Armaan stands up for Abhira as Vidya questions her intentions in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Vidya lashes out at Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) accusing her of trying to return to Armaan’s (Rohit Purohit) life

The upcoming track of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will bring major emotional confrontation inside the Poddar family. The tension between Vidya and Abhira continues to grow as Vidya becomes convinced that Abhira is trying to return to Armaan’s life once again.

Vidya believes that Abhira is taking advantage of Dadisa’s illness and her last wish to stay close to Armaan. According to her, Abhira is using the situation to slowly enter Armaan’s life again. This suspicion makes Vidya extremely angry and she decides to confront Abhira directly.

During the heated moment Vidya begins to insult Abhira and questions her character. She accuses Abhira of purposely trying to trap Armaan and create a place for herself in his life. Abhira is left shocked and deeply hurt by these harsh accusations but struggles to defend herself in front of the family.

Armaan cannot tolerate the insult and confronts his mother

Armaan is stunned when he hears Vidya’s words. He feels uncomfortable and disappointed that his mother is speaking so disrespectfully to someone. Seeing Abhira being humiliated in front of everyone makes Armaan step forward and finally speak up.

Armaan clearly tells Vidya that insulting a woman in such a way is wrong. He explains that he is not supporting Abhira because of any relationship but because what is happening is unfair. He even asks Vidya to apologise for her behaviour and stop blaming Abhira without proof.

Vidya becomes angry seeing her son defend Abhira and feels that Abhira is creating distance between them. The argument creates an awkward and tense situation in the house. Now it remains to be seen whether Dadisa will help calm the situation or whether this confrontation will create a deeper rift between the family members.
