Vasundhara humiliates Anupama and the clash intensifies in Anupamaa
Tonight's Anupamaa episode opens on a cheerful note as Khyati and Parag warmly welcome the entire family for Vasundhara ji's birthday celebrations. To make her entry special, they burst colourful magic crackers, creating a festive vibe. Soon after, the family members shower rose petals on the floor, forming a beautiful path for Moti Ba to walk on.
Touched by the gesture, Vasundhara ji thanks everyone for the grand and heartfelt welcome. Watching her celebrate her birthday with such enthusiasm at this age, the so-called villains of the house are seen whispering among themselves, mockingly questioning whether she is a birthday girl or a birthday dadi.
Family Showers Love with Gifts and Blessings
One by one, all the family members step forward to present Vasundhara ji with flowers and gifts. When it is Anupama's turn, she gives her a lovely framed picture of Bhagwanji. Vasundhara ji is genuinely pleased by the gift and praises Anupama for her thoughtfulness, thanking her warmly. She then moves forward to hug Anupama, but Anupama gently stops her. She explains that Vasundhara ji is senior to her in every way, and in their household tradition, elders are respected on their birthdays. Saying this, Anupama bends down and touches Vasundhara ji's feet to seek her blessings.
After a while, the negative members of the family pass another remark. They say they assumed that since it was Vasundhara ji's birthday, there would be a simple puja and aarti, but instead it looks like a full-fledged party. They even ask Vasundhara ji if she does not feel uncomfortable celebrating so grandly at this age. Anupama immediately steps in and gives them a sharp and fitting reply. She questions who has decided the "right" age to be happy and reminds everyone that there is no age limit for celebrating life. Age, she says, is just a number, and a birthday is always special, no matter how old a person is. She firmly scolds them for constantly standing aside and making hurtful comments, adding that if they cannot speak positively, they should at least remain silent.
Anupama Encourages Vasundhara Ji to Celebrate Freely
Anupama then turns to Vasundhara ji and tells her that today she should listen only to her heart and enjoy every moment of the day. She encourages her to dance if she feels like it and to celebrate without any hesitation. She wishes her wholeheartedly and even apologises on behalf of Paritosh for any past mistakes. Vasundhara ji responds by saying that the party will surely happen, but before that, everyone should offer prayers to Bhagwanji.
The entire family gathers near the home temple. Vasundhara ji calls Anupama forward and emotionally says that the house stands united today because of her. She credits Anupama for helping her understand who truly belongs to her and for setting things right. She asks Anupama to perform the aarti. Though Anupama hesitates initially, she soon accepts and performs the aarti with deep devotion, singing bhajans with full faith.
Paritosh Seethes as Pari and Raja Enjoy the Moment
Meanwhile, Paritosh grows visibly irritated on seeing Pari and Raja happy together. He keeps wandering around with an annoyed expression, clearly unable to hide his frustration.
Once the prayers are done, the party hosts announce that it is time for some fun games, and the celebrations officially begin. The first game is a tug of war between the two families. Everyone participates with great excitement and laughter, and the winning team is rewarded with gifts.
After a few more enjoyable activities, another game is announced. In this round, selected family members receive chits with the names of other members written on them. They have to dress up and act like the person whose name they get. The game starts with some members mimicking Ba and Hasmukh, leaving everyone in splits. Later, Khyati imitates Anupama and delivers a long, dramatic speech, making Anupama blush while the rest of the family laughs wholeheartedly.
Precap for the next episode:
In the precap, the mimicry act goes on, with Paritosh and Kinjal portraying Parag and Khyati, while Pakhi takes on Vasundhara ji’s role. As the performance progresses, the mood in the room begins to shift, and the smiles slowly fade. Unable to take it any further, Vasundhara ji finally interrupts the act and asks them to stop immediately.
Seeing her upset, Anupama rushes towards her and apologises on Pakhi’s behalf, even holding her ears as a gesture of sincere regret. Vasundhara ji responds by saying that an apology was indeed necessary. She then takes a sarcastic dig at Anupama, remarking that her habit of scolding could easily turn into an entire episode on its own. Anupama reacts by saying that this now feels less like humour and more like an insult.
However, Vasundhara ji continues, adding that Anupama never needs an opportunity to give a lecture. Anupama quickly defends herself and asks her not to judge her based on that. The exchange soon turns heated, with both of them raising their voices, leaving everyone around them shocked by the sudden confrontation.
