Kaveri decides to send Abhira away from the Poddars, Armaan stands in YRKKH

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Maira softly asks Abhira if keeping a little light on would be fine, to which Abhira gives a nod. In an attempt to uplift her spirits, Maira tries to cheer her up, and in return, Abhira also manages to bring a smile to Maira's face. Watching this comforting moment from afar, Geetanjali silently observes them.

Kiara’s shocking dilemma

Meanwhile, Kiara begins to reconsider her decision of staying at the Goenka house. She secretly calls her friend to ask if she can stay with her for a few days. However, her friend shocks her with a condition—she will only allow Kiara to stay if she brings illegal substances for a house party. This unexpected demand leaves Kiara stunned.

Maira convinces Abhira for the kirtan

At the Poddar house, Maira lovingly urges Abhira to be part of the upcoming puja, but Abhira instantly shakes her head in refusal. Maira then explains that since Abhira is not comfortable stepping outside, she had requested Kaveri and Vidya to arrange the Kirtan at home instead of at the temple.

Still unconvinced, Abhira once again denies. At that moment, Vidya reassures her that no outsiders would be attending, only the family members would be present. Supporting this, Kaveri adds that they had made a vow for Abhira's return, and asks her gently if she could at least join for a short while, seek blessings, and then return to her room.

Abhira continues to resist, but Maira doesn't give up. She hugs her mother tightly and pleads, saying that they had been separated twice already, but this time she wanted them to pray together for their togetherness forever. Maira insists that if they both ask God with one voice, He will surely listen to them.

Her heartfelt words touch Abhira, and she finally agrees. This fills Maira with immense joy. Overwhelmed, she hugs Abhira once more, thanking her repeatedly, while Abhira too holds her close, drawing comfort from their bond.

Kiara stays back with the Goenkas

On the other side, Abhir searches for Kiara and assumes she has run away. To his surprise, he finds her dressed in his clothes. Kiara explains she had no other option since she didn't have her own clothes. When Abhir asks her to have food, she refuses.

At that moment, Armaan arrives and tells Kiara to return home. Kiara, however, firmly says she won't go back until she corrects her mistake and earns back Manisha's trust. She requests Armaan to at least meet her occasionally. Both Armaan and Kiara thank Abhir for his support, while Abhir assures Kiara that she is welcome to stay with the Goenkas for as long as she needs.

Armaan worries for Abhira

Elsewhere, Kajal asks Manisha about how she will sing while being upset, to which Manisha responds that she will manage. Armaan notices the puja preparations and grows concerned that Abhira might not be able to handle the crowd. Kaveri tells him she already asked Abhira's opinion. Armaan argues that Abhira might not have fully grasped the situation, but Kaveri points out that Abhira is with Maira, which should be reassuring.

Armaan grows restless as the preparations for the puja continue. He urges Kaveri to cancel it, fearing that Abhira might feel anxious and overwhelmed during the gathering. Just then, Kaveri notices Abhira walking down the stairs, holding Maira's hand and points out to Armaan that Abhira does not appear frightened as he had assumed.

She then guides Abhira to sit for the kirtan, where the rest of the family joins in. Soon, the devotional singing begins, with Manish leading the bhajans.

As the puja progresses, Geetanjali performs an elegant dance, captivating the family members with her grace. Once the performance ends, Maira quietly steps aside to fetch water for Abhira. Meanwhile, Tanya is seen chatting with her group of friends. Spotting Abhira nearby, one of Tanya's friends cruelly remarks about her imprisonment in Anshuman's murder case, leaving Abhira visibly unsettled.

On the other side, as Maira picks up a glass of water and prepares to return to Abhira, Geetanjali approaches her. She asks if she can have water from that glass, but Maira politely refuses, explaining that it is meant for Abhira and requests her to take water from another glass. Geetanjali hides her displeasure but continues the conversation.

Geetanjali later questions Maira about why she didn't praise her dance. Maira calmly replies that Geetanjali indeed danced well. Geetanjali then asks why Maira doesn't talk to her like before. Maira clarifies that it was wrong of her to speak to Geetanjali secretly without Abhira knowing.

Armaan and Krish clash

The taunt from Tanya's friend unsettles Abhira, making her restless. Armaan immediately steps in, asking Tanya's friend to leave and warning them not to pass judgments without knowing the truth.

This leads to a heated argument when Krish accuses Armaan of misbehaving with Tanya's friend. Armaan lashes back, reminding him that Abhira is suffering because both Tanya and Krish gave damaging statements in court.

As the clash between Armaan and Krish grows heated, Vidya notices Abhira’s trembling state and quickly brings her a glass of water. But the moment Abhira sees everyone’s eyes on her, panic takes over—she drops the glass in fear and runs back to her room. The entire family is left stunned by her reaction.

Kaveri decides Abhira’s fate

Armaan rushes after her to console her, but Abhira, overwhelmed, pleads with him to leave her alone. Just then, Kaveri arrives, and Armaan vents his anger at her for arranging the puja despite knowing how fragile Abhira’s condition is.

Surprisingly, Kaveri agrees with his concern, admitting that Abhira gets anxious even in the presence of a few people. She points out that in a large household like theirs, such incidents will keep recurring, as someone or the other will always end up making hurtful remarks.
